Very recently I have released a patch for Youkai Club and I will need some help in order to completey finish it. All the text has been translated and there are a few small tasks left. First off, I need an english title screen, and I need someone to play through my patch and find all the text as it appears in the game and then send me savestates of said text. If you can help me, I would appreciate it very much.

throughhim413 and KC are collaborating on a project to translate Bandai-Namco’s 2007 action RPG title Tales of Innocence for the Nintendo DS!
Tales fans have been patiently waiting and hoping for an official announcement for ToI, but sadly, it looks like that day may never come. Tales of Innocence had all the makings to be a big success outside of Japan. However, with the development of newer games (including the upcoming Tales of Hearts for the DS) and the localization staff already working on Tales of Symphonia’s spinoff sequel and Tales of Vesperia, we believe it is unlikely that Tales of Innocence will ever see the light of day.
Tales of Innocence has many of the features that Tales fans both old and new have come to enjoy:
- A 3D battle system (ala Abyss)
- Voiced Dialogue
- Voiced Skits
- Not Sucking (Never Before Available on the DS!)
We’re proud to be bringing you some of the freshest and best that the Tales series has to offer. For more information and additional screenshots, please visit the home of this translation on the blog linked below.

ROM Hacks News
This is a simple hack that ports all of Final Fantasy IV Easy Type’s data changes into Final Fantasy II US. An extended description, from the readme:
I’m fairly certain anyone with even a mild interest in Final Fantasy IV knows that the Easy Type version, which was released in Japan at about the same time the US got its Final Fantasy II, has many interesting changes that aren’t present in any other version of the game. Nonetheless if you spend enough time on forums you will inevitably find people who use “Easy Type” and “Final Fantasy II” interchangeably, as if they were identical to one another, despite all the evidence to the contrary available via a quick search online.
However, this erroneous claim is what inspired me to make this hack. Every byte of data that was changed for Easy Type has been ported to the 1.1 revision of Final Fantasy II US, text changes have only been made for the two new swords and anything else that needed text, the rest of the game is left entirely intact. This is as close to what we would have gotten in 1991 had Final Fantasy II US been a localized version of Easy Type. I hope you enjoy playing through this under-appreciated version of Final Fantasy IV.

Translations News
About a month ago, I resumed active work on the ToD2 project, which had been dormant for at least a year. However, the menu translation aspect is a mostly open community effort and a lot of contributors have vanished, no longer have the time, or have seemingly lost interest since.
To hopefully renew interest, I released a patch the other day with the then-current progress. I also figured that as an open project, it might be best for contributors to be able to see everything in context, and not just in mountains of text files.
That said, this patch is incomplete, and still has a lot of rough points as far as writing is concerned. I’m looking for anyone with decent English skills for editing, decent Japanese skills for translating (or accuracy proofing), or both. No application required!
See the website for more details.
